Miami Photo Tour, Part 1

On May 13th, 2007, I got my camera and hopped on metrorail to go downtown for the sole purpose of observing and taking photos of the urban landscape. Let me start by saying that the downtown, midtown, and brickell areas of Miami have the greatest potential to become less auto-reliant and more dependant on public transportation, as the area is served by the three metromover lines which are connected to metrorail. One important step in developing an eco-friendly and world-class city is to become less reliant on automobiles and create urban density focused around transit. In the tour you will also find pictures of important construction projects that are helping Miami's effort at becoming a world-class city. That being said, for the first part of my photo tour, I'll post a handful of pictures (there are too many in total to put all on one post) of the buildings and urbanity of Miami.
